  • Epi InfoTM Software Is a free software developed to facilitate field epidemiological investigations and statistical analysis. It is used from the program Epi InfoTM program. This program is produced by Epidemiology Program Office, Centres for Disease Control and by Global Programme on AIDS, World Health Organisation and the basic version is distributed for free.
    A pretty similar software called Epi Data that is an epidemiological software developed by the Epi Data Association (www.epidata.dk).
    This is based on Windows operating system and, in the author’s opinion there are a series of similitude with Epi InfoTM - simplicity, applicability, few operation and communication system requirements.
